Efficient Logistics in Wood Construction: New Wood-Shuttle at Neue Holzbau AG
Efficient workflows are a key factor for success in modern wood construction. To further optimize our internal processes, we at neue Holzbau AG are now relying on the Wood-Shuttle, an innovative solution for in-house material transport.
The system enables us to move heavy pallets and components across our site with precision, safety, and flexibility. Thanks to its compact design, maneuvering in tight spaces is also no problem.
A distinctive feature of the Wood-Shuttle is its omnidirectional steering. This ensures that the vehicle can move in all directions, making it ideal for complex workflows and challenging spatial conditions in timber construction.
With a load capacity of up to 30 metric tons, the system is ideally suited for transporting large and heavy components. The integrated lifting system also enables precise lifting and alignment of the load—even on uneven ground.
Control is conveniently handled via a radio remote control, ensuring simple and safe operation in daily use.
Optimized Processes and Greater Efficiency
Using the Wood-Shuttle brings clear advantages to our operations:
- More efficient material flow across the entire site
- Improved workplace safety
- More flexible and faster production processes
In this way, we are making a further contribution to the continuous optimization of our internal processes and to increasing our performance.
Strong Partnership
A heartfelt thank you goes to GERSAG Krantechnik AG for the delivery and their expert support during implementation. With such innovative solutions and reliable partners, we are actively shaping the future of timber construction.
