Pembroke College is nominated for the Wood Awards 2024

We are delighted that the first phase of the redevelopment of Pembroke College in Cambridge has been shortlisted in this year's Wood Awards.

Pembroke College was founded in 1347 and this project, which includes a new college courtyard and the restoration of a number of historic buildings, is the most significant development of the college since the fourteenth century.

The n'H team were responsible for the consultancy, detail structural engineering and delivery in glulam oak with GSA connections including logistics. The oak beams and columns are visible throughout and, together with the hand-crafted brickwork, celebrate the craftsmanship that continues the architecturally rich history of this inner city university campus.
