Die Bau- und Montagearbeiten sind soweit fortgeschritten, dass die Holzbrücke am Donnerstag, 18. April 2013 ab 08.00 Uhr versetzt wurde.
Der Standort befindet sich am Ende des Fabrikweges in Burgdorf.

Sowohl die 6 vorfabrizierten und antransportierten Fachwerkelemente wie auch die über 5‘000 Einzelteile wurden in den letzten Wochen vor Ort zusammengesetzt.
Alle Holzteile bestehen ausschliesslich aus einheimischem Laub- und Nadelholz.
So entsteht die grösste, frei gespannte Holzbrücke der Schweiz.
Es handelt sich hierbei um einen technischen Anlass.

Die offizielle Eröffnung und Übergabe an die Bevölkerung erfolgt ca. Mitte Juni 2013.
